Water4schools is a practical way to “walk the talk” in regards to environmental sustainability. The Water4schools programme is promoting the sustainable use of water. The programme encourages water conservation and awareness about water use by working with schools to install water tanks. EERST has received funding to implement the Water4schools programme in to more schools and preschools in the Bay of Plenty. There are 4 tanks sizes available – 1,100 litre, 5,250 litre, 15,000 litre and 30,000 litre.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications close 11/12/2015
Project location: Bay of Plenty

Outside of the Bay of Plenty and want to get involved?

Schools and preschools can register their interest in Water4schools by completing an application form which you can get through an EERST representative. The application form includes:

  • Your school/preschools needs for the tank
  • Visibility – where the tank will be put
  • Current water usage
  • Letter of support

Please note: If your school/preschool is from anywhere outside of the Bay of Plenty, your interest will be noted but we will need to wait for a significant amount of interest from your area to attract some funding.

If you are a business and wish to get involved in Water4schools please click here for the benefits to your business or contact EERST on 0800 727 4873
