A large proportion of New Zealand’s energy supply is from renewable energy such as hydro and wind. However coal and natural gas are used in greater proportion when we experience reduced rainfall, which means a greater use of non-renewable fossil fuels are required to meet our energy needs.

We believe that through an energy audit, simple changes and education we can significantly reduce the energy consumed in New Zealand’s schools. We are currently creating a business plan that will use the best possible options for reducing energy consumption…or to put it simply we will be picking the low hanging fruit! After that we will be seeking project partners and sponsors.

If you have any suggestions, or recommendations for reducing schools energy consumption please let us know. We are always open to new ideas.
